My Story
One summer my parents decided to move and majorly down size now that my brother an I were older and lived on our own. Naturally I volunteered to help pack. They were moving into a house half the size of their current home. Only what they absolutely wanted to keep and only decorations that matched were allowed to come (per my mom). My mom, with good intention, always taught me the value of keeping and cherishing every piece of schoolwork and grade school history just in case I’d need it in the future. I see that too much stuff can be overwhelming, counterproductive and actually had been weighing me down too. This sudden desire to organize turned out to be the first time in my life I had felt in control and in my element. As I shredded 20 years of stuff, I didn’t realize the process would lead to my true passion.
I began organizing for friends and family and before I knew it, I was looking up ways to become an organizer and somehow turn my passion into a career.
